Focus: 2-man game (picks & slips) + off-ball movement.

0:00 – 0:08 | Dynamic Agility Warm-Up with Stick

  • Cone Weave + Switch Hands on Return – 4 cones, 5 yds apart. Sprint weave forward, switch hands halfway back.

  • Sprint Scoop GB Pass to Coach – ball placed on ground at cone, sprint, scoop, protect stick, pass on the run.

  • Juke at Cone + Roll Dodge to Outside – plant hard, roll away from cone, accelerate 5 yds.

0:08 – 0:15 | Partner Stickwork – “Pressure Pass Challenge”
(3 stations, rotate twice)

  1. Tight Hands in 5x5 Box – keep both feet in small area, quick stick exchanges.

  2. Pressure Pass – partner closes space to 3 ft before passing; forces fast reaction.

  3. Quick Hitch & Shoot – partner feeds, quick fake high, shoot low.

0:15 – 0:27 | Continuous 3v2 to 4v3 to 5v4 Break Drill

  • Start with GB at midfield → 3v2 break → pass to trailing 4th for 4v3 → add 5th for 5v4.

  • Key coaching: “One more” pass mentality, backside awareness, defenders recovering inside-out.

0:27 – 0:37 | Ride to Clear Transition Drill

  • Team A rides full-field → Team B clears → if successful, immediate fast break.

  • Rotate roles after each rep.

0:37 – 0:50 | Offense Install – Pairs Motion with Crease Pop

  • Two 2-man games on opposite wings.

  • Crease man pops high to open middle; dodger reads and hits backside cutter or rollbacks.

0:50 – 1:02 | Defense – Hot Man + Second Slide Recognition

  • 5v4 setup.

  • Hot man slides to ball carrier, second slide fills crease.

  • Reset quickly between reps to keep pace high.

1:02 – 1:18 | Controlled 6v6 with Rule Constraints

  • Offense: must use 2-man game on wing before shooting.

  • Defense: must call “HOT” and “TWO” every rep or possession restarts.

1:18 – 1:30 | Conditioning Finisher

  • 8x 20 yd sprints: 5 sec rest between reps; switch to backpedal on even reps.

Focus: Man-up/Man-down introduction + defensive communication.

  1. Catch Face Dodge Pass – partner feeds, quick face dodge, return pass.

  2. Run the Arc – both players move in a curved run, exchanging passes on the move.

  3. Inside Quick Finishes – partner feeds to crease area, catch & shoot with no cradle.

0:15 – 0:27 | Continuous GB Battle into Transition

  • Coach rolls GB → 1v1 ground ball fight → winner immediately pushes 3v2 or 4v3 with trailing players joining live.

0:27 – 0:37 | “10-Second Clear” Drill

  • Ball starts with goalie → must clear and get over midfield in under 10 seconds.

  • Defense rides aggressively; offense uses spacing & quick passing.

0:37 – 0:50 | Offense Install – 1-3-2 Motion with Skip Pass

  • Middie dodge from top → draw slide → skip to backside wing → feed crease or shoot.

  • Emphasize timing so crease man seals his defender during the skip pass.

0:50 – 1:02 | Defense – Recover Out of Man-Down

  • Start 4v3 man-down → after 10 seconds, 4th defender sprints in → defense must adjust instantly to even numbers.

1:02 – 1:15 | Special Teams – Faceoff Win/Loss Scenarios

  • Win: push to fast break, look for quick finish.

  • Loss: set immediate ride, lock-off and force turnover.

1:15 – 1:28 | Live Scrimmage – Situational Play Calls

  • Coach calls out “Up 1,” “Down 1,” or “Tie” before each possession.

  • Teams adjust strategy on the fly (stall, attack quickly, ride aggressively).
