Focus: Off-ball motion, defensive rotations, and riding pressure.

0:00–0:08 | Ladder Agility Warm-Up (no Stick) 

  1. Two foot forwards: 2 feet in each square moving forward → sprint out 5 yds.

  2. Ickey Shuffle – 2 feet in, 1 foot out, quick lateral steps → sprint out 5 yds.

  3. Lateral In/Out – 2 feet in, 2 feet out, lateral steps

0:08–0:18 | Partner Passing – Read & React

  • Partners 10 yards apart.

  • Random stick-side throws; receiver adjusts, catches, returns pass in under 1 second.

  • Variations: quick stick, one cradle, change direction after catch.

0:18–0:33 | Offense – Read the Slide Drill

  • 5 offense vs. 4 defenders + goalie.

  • Initiator dodges, defense slides; offense reads slide, makes skip feed or quick pass for shot.

  • Rotate initiators every rep.

0:33–0:45 | Defense – Recover & Find Man Drill

  • 5 defenders, 5 cones in box (one per offensive spot).

  • On whistle, defenders rotate 1 cone away from man → recover as ball moves quickly.

  • Goal: communication, no open step-downs.

0:45–0:57 | Ride Under Pressure Drill

  • Clearing team starts in goalie crease.

  • Ride uses “lock-off adjacent” pressure — no easy outlets.

  • Clearers must use goalie & movement to escape.

  • Rotate roles every 2 minutes.

0:57–1:07 | Small-Sided Game – Numbers Chaos

  • Coach tosses ball in, calls “4v3” or “5v4.”

  • Teams instantly form & play live to shot.

  • Builds quick recognition & adaptation.

1:07–1:13 | Conditioning – Sprint Ladders

  • Sprint to 20 & back, 40 & back, 60 & back = 1 round.

  • Rest 30 sec; repeat 3 rounds.

Focus: Motion offense, defensive hot slides, and fast break decision-making.

0:00–0:08 | Cone Agility Box Drill

  1. Square Drill: 4 Cone 5 yards apart. Starting at cone 1 → Sprint to the cone 2 → Shuffle to the cone 3 → Backpedal to the cone 4 → Shuffle to cone 1.

  2. X Drill: 4 Cone 5 yards apart. Starting at cone 1 → crossover to cone 3 → shuffle to cone 2 → back reverse crossover to cone 4 → Shuffle to cone 1.

  3. L Drill: 3 Cones 5 yards apart. Starting at cone 1 → Sprint to cone 2 → Sprint back to cone 1 → Sprint around cone 2 → Loop around cone 3 → Sprint back around cone 2 and back to cone 1

0:08–0:16 | 2 Cone Throwback Drills (Left & Right Hands) 3-4 players at station

  • Roll away: Player 1 runs to cone 1 → Punches stick to outside and follows stick → Turns and throws back to Player in line

  • Split Back: Player 1 runs to cone 1 → Punches stick to outside and follows stick → Switches stick to opposite hand and runs back to cone 1 while throwing to Player in line

  • Split Roll: Player 1 split doges running to cone 1  → Punches stick to outside and follows stick

0:16–0:31 | Motion Offense – 1-4-1 to 2-3-1 Transition

  • Start in 1-4-1.

  • On dodge, crease cuts/replace; wings rotate to 2-3-1 shape.

  • Emphasis: fast rotation, middle open for crease looks.

0:31–0:43 | Defense – Hot Slide Drill

  • 6v6 half-field.

  • Coach names “hot” defender each rep; team adjusts slides on the fly.

  • Forces quick communication & decision-making.

0:43–0:58 | Fast Break – 4v3 Continuous

  • Standard L-drill setup.

  • Defense calls “point” & “two” while rotating to cover shooters.

  • Offense pushes quick shot in under 7 sec.

0:58–1:08 | Clearing Under Chaos

  • Clearing team starts in deep corner.

  • Ride applies all-out pressure; must clear in 20 sec or possession switches.

1:08–1:14 | Conditioning – 6 x 40-Yard “Game Starts”

  • Sprint 40 yds from lacrosse-ready stance.

  • Walk back recovery.
