Focus: 2-man pick game, rapid decision dodges, full-ride clearing
0:00–0:08 | Ladder Agility Warm-Up (no Stick)
Two foot forwards: 2 feet in each square moving forward → sprint out 5 yds.
Ickey Shuffle – 2 feet in, 1 foot out, quick lateral steps → sprint out 5 yds.
Lateral In/Out – 2 feet in, 2 feet out, lateral steps
0:08–0:16 | 2 Cone Throwback Drills (4 min per drill - 2 min per Left & Right Hands ) 3-4 players at station
Step Back: Player 1 runs to cone 1 → Cuts hard to their right, steps back, turns to the inside → Throws back to Player in line
Roll away: Player 1 runs to cone 1 → Punches stick to outside and follows stick → Turns and throws back to Player in line
0:18–0:28 | Competitive Small-Sided Game – 4v4 Half-Field
Setup: Half field, 4v4 + goalie.
Rules: Must make 3 passes before a shot. Turnovers = immediate change.
Coaching Points: Create spacing, cut after pass, communicate on D.
Why: High reps, quick decisions, real game pace.
0:28–0:38 | Position-Specific (Live)
Attack: Wing dodge into pick → split/read; hit roller or shooter.
Midfield: Top dodge into pick → roll/turn corner or feed popping mid.
Defense: Defend 2-man: fight over, switch, or hedge based on call.
Goalie: Work pick-side saves; screen reads.
0:38–0:48 | Offense Install – “Wing Roll”
Ball starts wing → mid sets pick → wing uses pick to roll middle or hit skip pass to backside.
Walk through → jog → live reps vs. defenders.
Coaching: Pick angle matters, ball carrier shoulder tight to pick.
0:48–0:58 | Clearing Drill – Full Ride Pressure
D starts behind goal, O in ride positions (3 attack lock, 3 mids drop into lanes).
Goalie starts with ball, has 7 seconds to cross midline.
If ride forces turnover, immediate counter-attack.
Coaching Points: Quick decisions, move ball to weak side, use goalie as passing option.
0:58–1:08 | Mini-Play – Skip Through
Dodge top → draw slide → skip pass to backside shooter.
Shooter steps into ball, time & room.
Add live defense after 3 reps each side.
1:08–1:18 | Transition Game – 5v4 Continuous
O runs 5v4 to shot → ball goes to new 5 coming in opposite direction.
Forces both O & D to make quick reads and rotate on the fly.
1:18–1:25 | RST Conditioning – 10 × 20-Yard Sprints
Sprint 20 yds → walk back → repeat.
Keep intensity high, group times within 1 second.
1:25–1:30 | Wrap & Huddle
Review: Pick communication on O/D, ride-clearing keys.

Focus: 2-man pick variations, man-up quick-strike, defensive recovery under scramble
0:00–0:08 | Cone Agility Box Drill
Square Drill: 4 Cone 5 yards apart. Starting at cone 1 → Sprint to the cone 2 → Shuffle to the cone 3 → Backpedal to the cone 4 → Shuffle to cone 1.
X Drill: 4 Cone 5 yards apart. Starting at cone 1 → crossover to cone 3 → shuffle to cone 2 → back reverse crossover to cone 4 → Shuffle to cone 1.
L Drill: 3 Cones 5 yards apart. Starting at cone 1 → Sprint to cone 2 → Sprint back to cone 1 → Sprint around cone 2 → Loop around cone 3 → Sprint back around cone 2 and back to cone 1
0:08–0:16 | 2 Cone Throwback Drills (4 min per drill - 2 min per Left & Right Hands ) 3-4 players at station
Split Back: Player 1 runs to cone 1 → Punches stick to outside and follows stick → Switches stick to opposite hand and runs back to cone 1 while throwing to Player in line
Split Roll: Player 1 split doges running to cone 1 → Punches stick to outside and follows stick
0:18–0:28 | Small-Sided Competitive – 3v3 + “Hot” Defender
Setup: 20x20 yd box, 3v3 plus 1 extra defender who floats to ball as slide.
Offense reads: If “hot” defender comes, hit open man.
Teaches recognition of help defense & quick passing under pressure.
0:28–0:38 | Position-Specific (Live)
Attack: Wing pick & slip, finish inside or dump to crease.
Midfield: Top pick, read switch vs. hedge, hit skip to wing if D rotates.
Defense: Fight through pick, tag slip man early.
Goalie: Anticipate slip feed; verbal “SLIP!” call.
0:38–0:48 | Offense Install – “Pick Through”
2-man pick on wing, ball carrier rolls middle; picker clears through to weak side, opening skip or backside cut.
Run both sides.
Walk → half speed → live.
0:48–0:58 | EMO / Man-Down Situational
EMO: 3–3 set, start with skip to crease for quick-stick; second option = rotation to low wing step-down.
Man-Down: Box + 1, close with stick high, rotate to ball, no ball-watching.
0:58–1:08 | Defensive Recovery Drill – 4v3 to 5v4
Start 4v3 fast break; after 3 passes, new O enters to make 5v4.
D must recover fast, communicate new matchups.
1:08–1:18 | Transition Game – “Chaser” 4v3
Coach rolls GB to O at midfield; D starts 5 yds behind and must chase.
Teaches O to exploit numbers before D recovers.
1:18–1:25 | RST Conditioning – 10 × 20-Yard Sprints
Sprint 20 yds → walk back recovery.
All players finish within 1 sec of their fastest time.
1:25–1:30 | Wrap & Huddle
Review: Slip timing, man-up ball speed, recovery talk.
